Dallas-based Southwest is one of the world’s most successful airlines, seen as the model for the low-cost carrier template that has spread worldwide.

Southwest is seeing a surge of demand for air travel in both leisure and business markets. The airline is adding services and frequencies in June, especially to the US West Coast, the Caribbean and Hawaii. The carrier operates an all-Boeing 737 fleet that includes the MAX, and has a strong sustainability plan.
