Possible MH370 debris washed up in Mozambique
Debris has been found off Mozambique is being examined to see if it belonged to the Boeing 777 flight MH370.
The Malaysia Airlines flight disappeared two years ago.
The debris was found on a sandbank in the Mozambique Channel, and has “NO STEP” written on it, suggesting it could be from the aircraft’ horizontal stabiliser.
Boeing engineers are currently looking at photos of the object to determine whether it belongs to the missing aircraft, but are yet to make a comment.
The only piece of the aircraft to be found and identified so far is a flaperon found on the shore of Reunion last July.
Three quarters of the 46,000 square mile search zone have been investigated so far, and the search operation is due to be complete by this summer.
