Poll: Will Boeing’s 737 MAX Ever Regain Its Previous Sales Footing?
Boeing lost customers for 14 737 MAXs in its stored inventory last month but has sold 12 from that existing backlog, pushing its total number of built and unsold narrowbodies to 92, an Aviation Week analysis shows.
The rise in cancellations leaves Boeing with about 20% of its existing 737 MAX-family inventory unsold—7% higher than the figure Aviation Week calculated two months ago.
