Poll: Has Commercial Aviation Already Seen The Worst of the COVID-19 Crisis?

Southwest Airlines reported softening bookings trends for November and December, reflecting a surge in COVID-19 cases across the U.S. 

“We’ve seen some slowing of the improving booking trends we’ve been experiencing the past few months,” Southwest CEO Gary Kelly told staff in a video message Nov. 12. “While we expected the election to impact these trends, as is usually the case, it’s unclear whether the softness of bookings we have seen these past few weeks is directly related to the recent rise in COVID cases.”
