Paris Airshow: Saudia selects Goodrich brakes for B777-300ER
Saudi Arabian Airlines has selected Goodrich to provide wheels and carbon brakes for airlines' fleet of 12 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
Under the agreement, Goodrich will supply the carrier with Duracarb proprietary braking system, which offers a 35% brake life advantage compared with the competition, said the manufacturer.
Saudi Arabian’s first 777-300ER aircraft is scheduled for delivery in January 2012, added Goodrich.
The deal complements the airline’s existing Goodrich-equipped fleet of 747-400 and 777-200 aircraft.
