JamboJet to launch new fare structure
JamboJet's CEO has announced plans for the low cost carrier to become more user-friendly, ETN Global Travel Industry News has reported.
CEO Willem Hondius confirmed earlier this week that the airline plans to launch a more flexible air structure, building on the single fare that includes one piece of hand luggage and a system allocated seat.
The new structure will include a more flexible fare, allowing travellers freedom to rebook in case they need to stay longer than initially planned.
As well as the ability to rebook, the new structure will allow passengers to pay for a specific seat, and pay for checked baggage.
JamboJet currently serves Kisumu, Eldoret, Lamu, Malindi, Mombasa, and Ukunda with a fleet of 2 leased Bombardier Q400NextGens and two Boeing B737-300 aircraft leased from parent Kenya Airways.
