EUROPEAN COMMISSION proposed to extend emissions trading system (EU ETS) to international aviation and apply carbon costs to flights departing from Central Europe for destinations at max distance of 5,000 km starting in 2029.

Steve Costley is responsible for the overall production SpeedNews. Steve has over 30 years of experience with SpeedNews, now part of the Aviation Week Network.
