Ethiopian prepares for A350-900 delivery

Ethiopian Airlines is set to take delivery of its first A350-900 next month, with 12 of the aircraft on order, and two on lease from AerCap.

CEO Tewolde Gebremariam has stated that the carrier plans to add ten more A350s to the fleet.
The fleet is currently dominated by 13 Boeing B787-8s, with six more to be delivered and two B787-9s due for delivery in 2017.
The new aircraft are being used to replace the aging B767-300 and B757-200 fleets.
