Emirates celebrates B777 joining Zambian route

Emirates has joined with its travel industry partners to celebrate the introduction of the Boeing 777-300 ER on its Zambia route.

The increase capacity on the aircraft will meet the demand of customers on the Lusaka route, which will increase trade and tourism between Zambia and Dubai.
“Since we started flying to Lusaka in 2012, Emirates has enjoyed a great relationship with the travel industry here with the airline experiencing continued growth over the years. The deployment of the Boeing 777-300ER is tribute to that growth,” said country manager, Thani Al Ansari.
The celebrations proved an opportunity for participants to network and share opinions on how to strengthen the aviation sector.
Al Ansari also called for Zambian natives to utilise the carrier’s network and travel across newly introduced routes such as Bali, Orlando, Cebu, Zhengzhou, Yangon and Hanoi.
He also asked participants to continue working with the carrier to promote a seamless and high quality travel experience for Zambian locals.
