EgyptAir takes delivery of sixth B777-300ER

EgyptAir has received its sixth and final Boeing 777-300ER in Seattle yesterday, taking its total fleet now to 75 aircraft.

Holding company vice chairman Capt Hossam Kamal, and the airline’a new chairman Capt. Ayman Nasr, with a number of officials and employees met the aircraft when it landed at Cairo airport.

Hussein Massoud, chairman of the holding company said that the group “Believes in the importance of having a strong fleet which can compete globally and this will consequently push the national economy forward through encouraging more investments and travel into Egypt.”

Nasr, while checking the new aircraft, said “This aircraft helps in supporting the international expansion strategies and at the same time provides the utmost levels comfort and entertainment to our customers.”
