ECAir secures loan from BDEAC
ECAir has been granted a loan of XAF20 billion (USD34.6 million) from the Developmental Bank of Central African States (BDEAC).
The loan is to be used for the carrier’s fleet renewal and expansion.
The bank’s president, Abbas Mahamat Tolli, said the carrier was in the process of acquiring a new aircraft to expand its route network.
The carrier also plans to build a new MRO hangar at Brazzaville Maya Maya Airport in partnership with Sabena Aerospace.
