ComAir takes delivery of Boeing 737-800
ComAir has acquired a Boeing 737-800 aircraft to service St Helena Airport from Johannesburg.
The aircraft will be configured to seat 120 passengers.
“The arrival of our newest addition is part of our ongoing fleet upgrade strategy and an important step towards operating the most modern and efficient fleet within southern Africa,” said Comair Chief Executive Officer, Erik Venter.
The St Helena government signed a Build and Operate (DBO) contract with Basil Read in 2011, which included £201.5 million for the design and construction of the airport.
