Camair-Co ordered to suspend European flights
Camair-Co has been ordered to suspend flights to Europe by the Cameroonian Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA).
CCAA has claimed that documentation sent by Camair-Co to the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for its Third Country Operator (TCO) authorisation had not been completed.
“This period of suspension of flights to the European Union should allow you time to undertake suitable restructuring and reorganization to meet civil aviation requirements and to prepare for your TCO evaluation," said CCAA's director general, Paule Assoumou Koki.
“We sent all the required documentation to EASA on time, and received a receipt as proof. Moreover, regarding preparations for the meeting with EASA in Cologne, I can assure that our teams are hard at work and motivated enough to ensure Camair-Co secures its TCO status,” replied Camair-Co CEO, John Paul Nana Sandjo.
Camair-Co only serviced Paris CDG, and the last flight was June 21.
