BOEING says it has added three additional layers of protection to 737 MAX's MCAS and has conducted >800 test/production flights; it is also making steady progress on the second software update for additional flight control computer redundancy.

Steve Costley is responsible for the overall production SpeedNews. Steve has over 30 years of experience with SpeedNews, now part of the Aviation Week Network.
