BOEING says given the current global trade environment, it is reducing 787 production

BOEING says given the current global trade environment, it is reducing 787 production from 14 to 12 aircraft per month for approximately two years beginning in late 2020. It is now estimating first flight of 777X in 1H20 and first delivery in 1H21.

Steve Costley is responsible for the overall production SpeedNews. Steve has over 30 years of experience with SpeedNews, now part of the Aviation Week Network. He joined the company in August 1989 as an Associate Editor and was named Managing Editor in 1994.
