BBN Airlines Indonesia enters ACMI partnership with US-Bangla Airlines

BBN Airlines Indonesia has signed wet-lease agreement with US-Bangla Airlines, one of the largest carriers in Bangladesh.

Under the programme, BBN Airlines Indonesia will provide two Boeing 737-800NG aircraft to US-Bangla Airlines. The first aircraft commenced operations on 1 April 2025, and the second scheduled to enter service in early May 2025. Both aircraft, configured in an all-Economy layout, will operate international routes from Dhaka to the Middle East, Thailand, Maldives, and Singapore. The aircraft and crew are fully based in Dhaka, ensuring a seamless integration into US-Bangla Airlines’ existing network.

BBN Airlines Indonesia delivers a comprehensive ACMI package, supplying not only the aircraft but also experienced flight and cabin crew, maintenance, and insurance coverage. This allows US-Bangla Airlines to maintain its operational focus on network management and customer service, while benefiting from the flexibility and reliability of BBN Airlines Indonesia’s ACMI expertise.

“This partnership marks a significant milestone in our expansion within the Asian market,” said Martynas Grigas, chairman of BBN Airlines Indonesia. “We are proud to support US-Bangla Airlines by providing high-quality ACMI capacity that aligns with their strategic goals and operational demands.”

“US-Bangla has been consistently seeking credible partners for ACMI leases, and with BBN Airlines Indonesia now on board, this marks our second ACMI partnership with the Avia Solutions Group,” said Jitendra Pandey, Head – Commercial & Contracts, US-Bangla Airlines. “Our experience with Avia Solutions Group companies has been very positive, particularly due to their agility in understanding and adapting to the unique operational and cultural requirements of the region. We are optimistic about a successful partnership and look forward to a long-term, fruitful association with BBN Airlines Indonesia.”
