Transaero to serve Tokyo

Moscow-based carrier Transaero Airlines has announced that it will restore links from St Petersburg to Tokyo Narita Airport. The route will resume on May 27 having been suspended in 2009.

The service will be operated on a once weekly rotation and with B767-300 aircraft. There is no current service between the city pairs.

St Petersburg is a secondary base for Transaero, with 40% of its services originating in DME. The new route will also have tour operator support as well as seat alone sales.
