SINGAPORE—Singapore Airlines (SIA) is increasing capacity across its network for the next northern summer season, with demand on some routes in 2024 projected to meet or surpass pre-pandemic levels.

The Airbus A380 will be reinstated on the daily Singapore-to-Frankfurt service from March 31, 2024, marking the return of SIA's quadjet to Europe.

Flights from Singapore to Dubai (DXB) will exceed 2019 levels, expanding from 7X weekly to 11X weekly starting March 31.

The routes from Singapore to Male (MLE) and Cairns (CNS) will be upgauged from the Boeing 737-8 to the A350-900.

On the world’s busiest international air route, SIN-Kuala Lumpur (KUL), SIA will increase frequencies from 47X to 66X-weekly, operated by the 737-8.

The Singapore-Milan Linate-Barcelona fifth-freedom route will be reduced from 5X to 3X-weekly due to the reinstatement of SIN-BCN from June 2, 2024, and an increase in SIN-LIN from 3X to 4X weekly.

Seats are also being added from Singapore to: Ahmedabad, Beijing, Copenhagen, Da Nang, Darwin, Houston, Melbourne, Perth, Seattle, Shanghai and Tokyo.
