Routes Asia: Social and networking events

Delegates can take time out from meetings to experience some of Brisbane’s popular attractions and famous hospitality during the Routes Asia 2018 networking functions.

Welcome Reception

18 March: 18.00–20.00

South Bank is the location for the Welcome Reception, next to the Brisbane River and the city’s iconic sign. Its lush parklands, world-class eateries, stunning views and cultural events are popular with Brisbanites and tourists who want to relax and unwind.

The area is also home to the Queensland Conservatorium, the Wheel of Brisbane, the Nepal Peace Pagoda, Streets Beach (a man-made swimming area) and the Grand Arbour.

Networking Evening

19 March: 19.00–23.00

The Networking Evening will take place at City Hall in the heart of Brisbane. Designed in the Italian Renaissance style, the 1920s building will provide a grand backdrop to the pinnace of the event, the Routes Asia 2018 Marketing Awards.

City Hall underwent an impressive $215 million restoration in recent years and regularly hosts some of the city's most important social, cultural and civic events.

Up to 800 delegate from 100 airlines, 200 airports and 30 tourism authorities will atend Routes Asia 2018. Around 2,000 meetings are expected to take place during the three-day event in Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
