Routes Americas goes to the Caribbean in 2011
The Caribbean region will for the first time host Routes Americas when the event moves to Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic between February 13–15, 2011. RDG’s deputy CEO, David Stroud, officially handed over the event to next year’s host, Aerodom, this afternoon (February 16) during the final lunch of this year’s event in Lima.
Andrew O’Brian, Aerodom CEO said it was an honour for the airport operator to host the route development community. “Santo Domingo is the first city in the Americas and its warm people will ensure that it is a really special event.”
Stroud added that he believes next year’s event will be a “spectacular” one. “We really believe that this is the number one event in the Americas for the whole region but we couldn’t have done it without all the support of the delegates and sponsors,” he said.
Routes Americas 2010 concludes today.
