Proflight Zambia gets ready for the festive season

Proflight Zambia is gearing up for its busiest festive season ever with special fares for local travellers that are fixed until mid-January.

The additional demand for travel follows the newly introduced international route to Durban in South Africa, adding to the airline’s existing local tourist destinations including Livingstone, Mfuwe and Kasama.

‘’This festive season is set to be the busiest for Proflight as many people are expected to fly in and out of Zambia. This is a period that is important for us and we are delighted that passengers are going to take advantage of our quality services and affordable fares as they travel,” said Proflight director of government and industry affairs Captain Phillip Lemba.

To increase affordability for local passengers over the holiday season Proflight has stepped up its Special Firecracker fares on Mfuwe and Livingstone flights.

New return fares have also been introduced from Mfuwe and Kasama to Lusaka of K1,700 plus airport taxes, and from Kasama to Copperbelt return of K2,400 plus airport taxes. Citizen fares of K1,300 one-way plus taxes are available on flights from Lusaka to Livingstone and Solwezi .

These local special fares will be fixed in kwacha until the end of the holiday season in mid-January. Children aged from 2 to 17 years travel half price on all routes.

Proflight’s buy-one, get-one-free special offer to Durban has also been extended to December 15.Proflight has also removed the Passenger Service Fee for bookings made at all its offices between November and February.
