Orient Thai adds South Korea

Orient Thai has announced that it will begin new services from Bangkok to Seoul Incheon Airport, South Korea. The route will initially be operated on a four times weekly rotation with B747-400 equipment.

The carrier will face competition on the route from carriers including;

• Korean- 14x weekly
• Thai International 14x weekly
• Asiana 11x weekly
• Jin Air 7x weekly

IATA BSP data shows that over 1 million O+D pax have flown the sector between June 09-10 with Korean Air having a 33% share of the market.
