Hainan adds second Brussels flight

Hainan Airlines has announced that it will added a new non-stop service from Shanghai to Brussels, commencing May 28th. The route will be operated on a three-times weekly rotation using A330 equipment.

Hainan Airlines currently serves Brussels from its Beijing hub on a four-times weekly basis and in total operates to eight European markets (including CIS):

• Brussels
• Budapest 3x weekly
• Krasnoyarsk 2x weekly
• Irkutsk 2x weekly
• St Petersburg 1x weekly
• Moscow SVO 3x weekly
• Berlin TXL 3x weekly
• Novosibirsk-Tolmachevo 3x weekly

BSP data shows that over 22,000 pax have flown the city pairs indirectly in the 12 months between Oct 08-09.
