Delta Air Lines has relocated operations at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) from Terminal B to the $2.7 billion Terminal A, completing the full opening of the new terminal. Terminal A started handling flights in January when the majority of the facility opened. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, which runs EWR, says the terminal’s final five gates and a new Delta lounge are now open. The 1 million-sq.-ft. Terminal A is one of three passenger terminals at the airport, and replaces Newark’s former Terminal A, which opened in 1973.
