FLYDUBAI ADDS NEW RUSSIAN MARKET
flydubai Dubai has announced it is to launch services between Dubai and Yekaterinburg. The service is to be operated twice weekly starting from the 16th October 2010. There is currently no other carrier serving the route on a scheduled basis. Ural Airlines has operated some ad hoc charter routes between the city pairs. The route has seen over 15,000 O+D passengers travel between June 2009 and 2010 mainly thanks to the Ural Airlines flights which accounts for 93% of this traffic.
ANADOLUJET TO SERVE MOSCOW
Turkish Airlines low cost subsidiary, Anadolujet, will launch new services from the Turkish capital of Ankara to Moscow Domodedovo. The new service will be inaugurated from October 31st and will be operated on a thrice-weekly rotation. The route will be operated with single-aisle B737-700 aircraft and will be the only scheduled route from Moscow to Ankara.
NORWEGIAN TO ALICANTE
Leading low-cost carrier Norwegian will begin scheduled flights from Oslo Torp to Alicante effective November 6th. The route will be operated on a single-weekly rotation and according to Flightbase, schedules for this Winter shows that Norwegian will operate to seven destinations in Spain with a total of 57 weekly flights from Scandinavia this Winter season.
KLM ADJUSTS MILAN SERVICES
SkyTeam member, KLM has adjusted service to Milan for this coming Winter season. From October 31st, its four times weekly service to Milan Malpensa will become a three times weekly service, whilst is single daily rotation to Milan Linate, will now become a double daily service.

LOT Polish Airlines has announced another scheduled route outside of Europe. Beginning October 27th it will begin scheduled flights from its Warsaw hub to the Egyptian capital of Cairo. It will operate B737-400 equipment on the route. IATA BSP data shows that 32% of the existing traffic currently transits via Prague with SkyTeam carrier CSA Czech Airlines.
