Fastjet launches summer flying programme

Fastjet has put its summer flying programme on sale and plans to resume flights on its Kilimanjaro to Zanzibar route in order to meet post rainy season demand from holidaymakers.

Fastjet has also announced that services in South Africa are now planned to commence in early July with flights between Johannesburg and Cape Town going on sale shortly.

Fastjet chief commercial officer Richard Bodin said: “We are pleased to announce that our summer flying programme will commence on 1 July. From today, thousands of our famous $20 one-way fares are available to customers booking travel for the summer period. We continue to offer excellent value to those flying within East Africa.”

He added: “fastjet recognises the very strong effect its flights will have on “in-bound” tourism in Tanzania with holidaymakers wanting to move from their Arusha safaris to Zanzibar’s stunning beaches. We are already working with Tanzanian Tour Operators and Travel Agents to provide international visitors with access fastjet’s safe, reliable and affordable service.”
