Emirates Adds Flights to Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro

United Arab Emirates (UAE)-based Emirates Airline has announced it will expand its South American network from January 2012 with a new daily link from Dubai to Rio de Janeiro with an extension to the Argentine capital Buenos Aires. The new service will be operated by a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft offering eight First Class Private Suites, 42 lie-flat seats in Business and 304 seats in Economy and will launch from January 3. Emirates has fifth freedom traffic rights between the Brazilian and Argentine cities.
