UK carrier easyJet is planning to launch 12 new routes from eight UK airports during the northern summer 2024 season, including three routes to Alicante in Spain and Enfidha in Tunisia.

Service to Spain’s coastal city Alicante will launch from Southampton (SOU) on March 31, and Belfast City (BHD) on May 2, as well as resuming from Newcastle (NCL) on April 2 after an absence of almost four years. Frequencies will be twice a week from BHD and NCL and once a week from SOU.

The LCC also plans to restart flights from London Luton (LTN) to Reus in Spain and launch a new service from Manchester. Both will begin on April 2, operating twice a week.

To Enfidha in northeastern Tunisia, easyJet will offer routes from Liverpool from April 1, Belfast International on April 20 and Glasgow on May 2. Each will be provided twice a week.

Also launching next summer is a new 2X-weekly route from Bristol to Malta on April 3; a 2X-weekly service from Glasgow to Larnaka, Cyprus, on May 4; and a 1X-weekly flight from SOU to Faro, Portugal, from June 6.

During the current winter 2023-24 season, data provided by OAG Schedules Analyser shows easyJet intends to offer about 35 million seats during the period, compared with 28.7 million during winter 2022-23. More than 700 nonstop routes will be served this winter, with London Gatwick-Geneva, Nice-Paris Orly, and LTN-Amsterdam the top three by capacity.
