Danish carrier to open sunshine markets.

Cimber Sterling has announced that it will start two new routes from its base in Aalborg Denmark. From May 15th it will operate new service to Palma de Mallorca PMI, and from May 18th it will also serve Nice, on the South Coast of France.

Both of these current markets are not served from Aalborg and Cimber will hope that the attraction of these two mass market sunshine destinations will be able to sustain point to point traffic. These annoucementbs come at a time when the low cost market in CPH has grown steadily with Norwegian, easyJet, Cimber and Transavia.com all having significant presence in the market. For example between CPH and PMI, Cimber, Transavia, Norwegian and Spanair all operate this route.
