Copa to increase Punta Cana

The national carrier of Panama, Copa Airlines has revealed that it will increase existing frequency from its Tocumen base to Punta Cana. Currently it operates a daily service, which from June 15 will be increased to a 12x weekly with a mix of B737-800 and E-190 aircraft.

Copa is currently the only scheduled carrier operating between these city pairs. IATA BSP data (Airport IS) shows that over 20,000 passengers have flown the route in the twelve month period between Nov 08-09.
