Continental increases Shannon service

Continental Airlines plans to increase capacity into Shannon for its 2010 programme, with an increase of 4 weekly flights from its Newark hub, taking its SNN programme to 11 weekly flights.

The additional capacity will be on offer from 27 May to 06 Sep 10.

Continental currently operates 220 weekly flights from Europe (the majority from EWR), with 35-times weekly flights from its Houston hub (IAH).

Its five leading European markets in terms of flights offered are:

• London Heathrow x 35
• Charles de Gaulle x 20
• Amsterdam x 14
• Frankfurt x 14
• Manchester x 13
