British Airways is fighting back with packages for UAE travellers

With traffic and capacity on the rise for British Airways in the Middle East, travellers from the UAE who want to discover more of Britain, Europe and North America can now take advantage of ongoing discounted fares announced by the airline.

With the launch of its new brand campaign, “To Fly. To Serve.”, the introduction of iPads to cabin crew and a substantial £5 billion investment in aircraft, catering, lounges, onboard products and staff training, British Airways is making that flying experience even more special. The Middle East is no exception to this. The airline has refurbished its lounge in Dubai and promoted its new First cabin in Dubai, Kuwait and Riyadh, where it has also increased capacity this winter. The airline has also relaunched its Executive Club frequent flier programme, introducing a new tier, Bronze.

Running until 5 December 2011, the promotion is valid on all flights valid through to 31 March2012 and allows British Airways' UAE customers to book return World Traveller (economy class), World Traveller Plus (premium economy) or Club World (business class) fares to London Heathrow on ba.com.

UAE travellers can also take advantage of flights to other major European destinations, as well as the USA and Canada. Customers can book their flight and hotel stay all in one package.

Paolo De Renzis, regional commercial manager, Middle East said: “We continue to invest in our products and services for our customers and we want them to experience the best of British, from the moment they step on the aircraft until we bring them home again. And we are delivering on our promise of “To Fly. To Serve.” because it is at the heart of everything we do.

“Terminal 5, our home at London Heathrow, is an amazing experience in itself and most of our flights operate from this terminal which makes the transfer process smooth and seamless. In Dubai, we've added an additional daily service for the duration of our winter schedule illustrating the emirate's importance to the airline.”
