BermudAir kicked off its Anguilla sub-brand with flights between Clayton J. Lloyd International (AXA) and Boston Logan International (BOS) airports, with two more U.S. routes to be launched this week.

Speaking to CAPA TV earlier this year during the Airline Leader Summit Latin America & Caribbean 2025, BermudAir CEO Adam Scott said the airline decided to expand to Anguilla “to help deal with some seasonality issues that we have in Bermuda. Moving aircraft to other markets like Anguilla that have counter-seasonality makes a lot of sense.”

The flights from AXA to the U.S. are being operated under the “AnguillAir” brand. The carrier flew the AXA-BOS route for the first time on Dec. 17, and will operate the service 2X-weekly through April 25, 2026. AnguillAir flights between AXA and Newark, to be flown 2X-weekly through April 12, 2026, are starting Dec. 18. Service between AXA and Baltimore, to be flown 2X-weekly through April 13, 2026, will launch on Dec. 19.

The start of the AnguillAir flights correspond with the opening of AXA’s new passenger terminal, which opened on Dec. 15.

Jose Vanterpool, Anguilla’s infrastructure minister, said the opening of the new terminal “marks a pivotal moment for Anguilla’s economic future … To support long-term, sustainable growth, we are pursuing a phased, demand-driven expansion plan, which includes extending the runway to accommodate larger aircraft and increased passenger and cargo volumes.”

The AnguillAir service to the three U.S. airports will be operated with a combination of BermudAir Embraer 175 and 190 aircraft. The carrier has two of each in its fleet.

Both types are configured in a two-class layout. The E175s offer 10 seats in business class and 60 in economy. The E190s have eight seats in business class and 88 in economy.

AnguillAir will offer the only service on all three of the U.S. routes launching this week.
