Austin's new AA service

American Airlines has decided to add Austin to its schedule from New York JFK, with daily non-stops starting on July 2.

The route will be flown using 140-seat MD80 aircraft, with 16 seats in First Class and 124 seats in economy/coach.

Roger Frizzell, American’s vice president, corporate communications and advertising, said: “It just makes sense to connect our state capital, a key business centre in Texas, with everything New York has to offer as both a business and leisure destination. We know our Austin customers will enjoy flying to and from our new state-of-the-art JFK terminal as well.”
