ANA to Introduce Dreamliner on More Domestic Routes

Japanese carrier All Nippon Airways (ANA) has announced it will introduce the Boeing 787 Dreamliner into service on three additional domestic routes. The airline was the launch customer for the new generation airliner and remains the only operator of the type in the world.

ANA confirms that it will use its 787-8s on the Tokyo Haneda –Osaka Itami and Tokyo Haneda-Yamaguchi Ube routes from January 23, 2012 and the Tokyo Haneda-Matsuyama route from March 1, 2012. The Osaka Itami and Yamaguchi Ube routes will be served daily, increasing to twice daily from February 1, 2012, while Matsuyama will be served twice daily.

The carrier launched scheduled services with the Dreamliner in November on the Tokyo Haneda-Okayama and Tokyo Haneda-Hiroshima routes and will launch its first international services with the type on January 21, 2012 when flights commence from Tokyo Haneda to Frankfurt, Germany.
