Finavia Group reported a net profit of €7.7 million ($8.8 million) in 2025, its first annual profit since 2019, and expects further revenue and operating profit growth in 2026 as passenger traffic continues to recover, the Finnish airport operator said. Revenue rose 12.8% year on year to €447.4 million, while operating profit reached €27.2 million. Finavia handled 20.4 million passengers across its airports in 2025, up 4.4% year on year, with growth driven by Helsinki Airport and tourism traffic in Lapland. The company says it expects comparable revenue in 2026 to reach €460 million to €490 million, with operating profit forecast at €40 million to €60 million. However, Finavia adds that geopolitical uncertainty and the continued closure of Russian airspace remain key factors affecting traffic recovery, particularly transfer traffic between Europe and Asia via Helsinki.
