AirAsia X increases Taipei capacity
AirAsia X will increase its schedule from Kuala Lumpur to Taipei from a weekly rotation to a nne-times weekly service.
The increase in frequency will become effective from April 15th - operated using A330 aircraft.
AirAsia X faces some competition from Eva Air (six-times weekly), China Airlines (seven-times weekly) and Malaysia Airlines (six-times weekly).
IATA BSP data (Airport IS) shows that over 340,000 have flown the route between Nov 08-09 with China Airlines leading the way in terms of market share - carrying 40% of all flown passengers.
