With Routes Asia fast approaching we take a closer look at the air transport landscape in South West Pacific. Looking at schedule data for the past two years shows that seat capacity on flights within and from South West Pacific increased 4.5 per cent in 2013, versus 2012, with departures up 2.6 per cent. In the tables below we highlight the largest airlines and airports in the South West Pacific market by seat capacity in 2013 and compare these with the previous year.
The data is all supplied by OAG Aviation using its OAG Schedules Analyser tool.
