Air India to launch Seoul

Air India will launch new service to Seoul Incheon airport from August 1st. The route will be operated on a 4x weekly basis from Delhi and will be a tag of Air India's existing service from Delhi to Hong Kong.

Delhi to Incheon is currently operated on a non-stop basis by Asiana, IATA BSP data shows that over 80,000 O+D pax have flown the sector between March 09-10, with leakage of over 25,000 pax a stimulus for Air India to offer same flight number service between Delhi and Incheon.

Between Hong Kong and Incheon, four carriers operate this route, Asiana, Cathay Pacific, Korean and Thai Airways International.
