Air Canada adds new Heathrow service
Star Alliance member, Air Canada has revealed that it is due to operate new seasonal service from St Johns International to London Heathrow.
The new service will be launched from 27May to 26Sep on a daily basis, two years after the route was discontinued due to poor load factors. The route will be operated narrowbody aircraft, A319 for a sector of approximately 4/5 hours.
BSP data shows that in the last 12 months over 13000 pax have indirectly flown the route, with Air Canada flying most of the passengers through Halifax, Toronto and Montreal, Continental has transported a small number of pax via Newark.
