Komy Mirrors was selected by Lufthansa to supply a total of 5,400 mirrors for installation in the overhead bins on the carrier's Boeing 737, 757, Airbus A319, A320 and A321 aircraft. Komy will deliver between 400 and 500 units a month, depending on LH's modification schedule, it said. LH has chosen the mirrors, which are intended to shorten security checks and allow passengers a clearer view of belongings, as a standard for all new A319, A320 and A380 aircraft.

SuperJet International said Mexico's Interjet signed a firm order for 15 Sukhoi Superjet 100s for delivery beginning in the second half of 2012. Based on list prices, the order is valued at $650 million. The airline also has five options.

Delta Air Lines confirmed it has issued an RFP to "several major aircraft manufacturers" regarding a future order of as many as 200 firm aircraft with deliveries beginning in 2013 to replace aging DC-9s, Boeing 757-200s and Airbus A320s on mainline domestic flying.

Rockwell Collins was selected by Vietnam Airlines to provide a suite of avionics including its MultiScan Threat Detection System and Multi-Mode Receiver Global Landing System, for 36 new Airbus A321-200s. Deliveries will begin in 2011 and continue through 2014.
