Indian carrier GoAir has signed a firm order for 144 Pratt & Whitney PurePower PW1100G-JM engines at the Singapore Airshow Wednesday.

Singapore Technologies Aerospace (ST Aerospace) and EADS EFW have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for a strategic partnership to develop the Airbus A330 passenger-to-freighter (P2F) conversion program.

Pratt & Whitney has won a $200 million order to provide Korean Air with 10 PW4170 Advantage70 engines to power five new Airbus A330s. The Advantage70 is offered both as a new engine and as an upgrade kit for existing PW4168 engines. It delivers a 2% thrust increase and more than 1% reduction in fuel consumption.
