BOC Aviation CEO Robert Martin is expecting to take more Airbus A321s than originally anticipated as part of an order for 50 A320 family aircraft, which was placed in December 2012.

Bank of China subsidiary BOC Aviation has placed an order with IAE International Aero Engines for 13 firm A320 family aircraft.

International Lease Finance Corp. (ILFC) has selected Pratt & Whitney PurePower PW1100G-JM engines to power an additional 30 Airbus A320neo family aircraft, bringing ILFC’s total commitment to 180 engines.

Boeing is bringing the 737 MAX’s entry into service date forward by six months and will equip the aircraft with an all-new technology cockpit with the same displays as those in the Boeing 787, the manufacturer announced Wednesday.

The Airbus A350 XWB will make its second test flight today at 1:30 p.m. Toulouse local time, weather permitting, Airbus president and CEO Fabrice Bregier said.

Avianca took delivery of its first ATR 72-600 at the Paris Air Show. It is the first of 15 the airline has on order.
