Boeing has begun flight testing more than 25 new technologies aimed at improving aviation’s environmental performance through every phase of flight.

Boeing and Air Mandalay have signed a memorandum of collaboration that will see Boeing support the Myanmar-based airline’s fleet renewal efforts.

Lufthansa’s premium economy class—which was planned to launch Dec. 1—will launch Nov. 22, nine days earlier than planned.

Airbus will launch the development and production of five new Beluga transport aircraft following its decision to ramp up production of the A350 XWB and other aircraft production rate increases.

The Airbus A350 XWB (MSN5) has embarked on an 11-day demonstration tour of Asia. The tour follows the completion of the A350-900 flight test campaign, which recently led to certifications by FAA and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
