Berlin-based Germania will launch premium-economy class flights on routes to Iran starting from Sept. 1.

Malaysia’s transport minister told media Sunday that a piece of debris found on Reunion Island last week is from a Boeing 777. The statement raises confidence that this may be the first piece of wreckage to be recovered from flight MH370 which vanished last year.

A second piece of wreckage, possibly an aircraft door, has been found on Reunion Island in the southern Indian Ocean, the BBC reported Sunday, Aug. 2. The discovery follows that of a large piece of debris found last week on the island and which is believed to be a wing flap from a large airliner.

International Airlines Group (IAG), parent of British Airways, Iberia and Vueling, plans to convert up to five Airbus A330-200 and eight A350-900 options into orders for Iberia as well as open new long-haul routes.

Airbus Group reported first-half net income of €1.52 billion ($1.69 billion), up 34% compared to a net income of €1.14 billion in the year-ago period.
