Felipe Santana Santiago de Lima
Embraer has named Felipe Santana Santiago de Lima to the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO), succeeding Antonio Carlos Garcia, who stepped down from the role on April 6.
Santana currently serves as Embraer’s global director of treasury and joined Embraer in 2008.
“Embraer has shaped my career, and I’m proud to continue this journey by contributing even more to its strategy, financial strength, and long-term sustainability,” Santana wrote on LinkedIn. “I look forward to this new chapter, working closely with our leadership and teams, and helping build the future of Embraer.”
Santana’s predecessor Garcia joined Embraer in 2020 and helped steer the company through a period of transformation and growth.
The executive stepped down to pursue other opportunities and is set to join Brazilian carrier Azul as its CFO on April 20. Following Garcia’s departure, Embraer CEO Francisco Gomes Neto was tapped to take on the interim EVP of financial and investor relations role. Santana’s promotion goes into effect on April 13.
“Felipe Santana is a highly respected leader within Embraer and has been developed for senior leadership roles,” Neto said. “His appointment reinforces our confidence in the company’s strategy and our focus on sustainable growth.”
Embraer is scheduled to report its first quarter earnings in early May.
