Airbus hit by DAE order cancellation

Troubled Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) has stunned European manufacturer Airbus with a cancellation of 30 aircraft that has put the Europeans into a loss situation for the first two months of the year

DAE's had originally ordered 70 A320s and 30 A350s for its leasing division but late last year it cancelled seven A350s and 18 A320s from its books. along with a number of aircraft from Boeing.

With the current cuts it now has just 11 A350s on order and 18 A320s.

The loss of 30 aircraft has put Airbus into a negative position.
