Aeroflot Board Approves Transaero Acquisition

Aeroflot’s board on Sept. 3 approved the carrier’s acquisition of domestic competitor Transaero. The board agreed to consider Transaero’s offer to purchase 75% +1-share package for a symbolic price of 1 ruble ($0.02). The offer is valid for 24 days.
