Russia’s Ural Airlines has opened a new maintenance hangar at Koltsovo Airport in Yekaterinburg.

AFI KLM E&M subsidiary Aero Maintenance Group (AMG) now has two units, Aero Technologies and Precision Electronics, which have received certification from the Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil (ANAC) allowing service to the Brazilian market.

GE Aviation is planning an additional $15 million investment for machinery and equipment at its new engine assembly facility in Lafayette, Indiana.

Heico Corp. has acquired Harter Aerospace, which operates a MRO facility for Airbus and Boeing jets in the Phoenix area and employs about 75 people.
