Boeing has named Dennis Muilenburg as its 10th chief executive, succeeding Jim McNerney, who has held the position for the past 10 years. Muilenburg, who has served as Boeing president and chief operating officer since 2013, becomes president and CEO on July 1.

South Wales-based MRO and pilot training business Cardiff Aviation is launching a new EASA-compliant aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance (ACMI) airline as part of its expansion plans.

EgyptAir Training Center has past the European Agency inspection for Safety and Aviation ( EASA ) conducted recently by the agency through reviewing training programmess, quality standards and the administrative structure of the instructors of the engineers of the training center to make sure they conform to the specifications and requirements of the European civil aviation authority.

CFM International will keep its maintenance costs for the new LEAP narrowbody engine to levels at or similar to those of the current CFM56 engine, company senior executives said Sunday on the eve of the Paris Air Show.
